Facility Patient Transportation Partner in Charlotte, NC
We are a private-pay medical transportation service in Charlotte, and we built our operation around the discharges other companies leave stranded. Coordinators across the Charlotte area already send us their private-pay patients because we answer, we screen the details before we confirm, and we put the ride in writing so nobody is guessing at 3:00 in the afternoon.
The bed is needed. The discharge order is signed. The patient is dressed and waiting. And the ride you counted on fell through, because the family is three states away, or the broker will not cover a private-pay discharge, or the person who said they would come never showed. Now you are on the phone, the floor is backed up, and whatever happens next reflects on you.
This page is for the coordinators who own that moment.
Who this is for
You refer patients. You need to know the ride will actually happen.
- Hospital discharge planners and case managers
- Skilled nursing and rehabilitation coordinators
- Assisted living and memory care staff
- Surgery center and ambulatory procedure schedulers
- Home health coordinators arranging a patient's return home
If your patient needs a private-pay ride and you need it to hold, you are in the right place. We are not the answer for every case, and we will say so plainly further down. Where we fit, we fit completely.
How a referral works
One call to 704-992-7433 starts it. Here is what we need and what happens next.
- Tell us three things. Mobility type (ambulatory, or wheelchair with a lift-equipped van), both addresses, and the time. That is enough for us to give you a real answer.
- We screen the home before we confirm. Driveway, turnaround, step count at the door. This is the step most companies skip, and it is why they get turned away on the curb. For you it means fewer failed drop-offs and fewer patients bounced back to your floor.
- We confirm in writing. You get the details in writing, not a verbal maybe you have to trust and forget. On any two-way booking, the return leg is guaranteed.
- A driver is at the discharge door. Owned van, our driver, no broker handoff and no shared ride. The patient rides with one company from door to door.
- We give you a fast, honest same-day answer. If the calendar has an opening, yes. If it does not, no. You will never get a maybe that leaves you managing a discharge on a guess.
Two ways to handle payment
We are private pay only. We do not bill Medicaid, insurance, or brokers, and that is deliberate. It is exactly why we can take the discharges those systems will not cover. For your referred patients you choose one of two paths.
- We bill the patient or family directly. You hand off the coordination and step out of the money entirely. Common when a family is arranging care from out of town and needs someone local who will simply handle it.
- We invoice the facility. When you want the ride arranged under your roof and settled on your terms, we bill you. One point of contact, clean paperwork, no Medicaid forms.
Either way there is no broker authorization to chase and no claim to file. This is the answer for the patient a broker will not cover: the private-pay discharge, the non-covered ride, the family coordinating from another state who needs one dependable local number.
What we run, and what we do not
The fleet and the people. Owned vans, ambulatory and wheelchair lift-equipped. Drivers are CPR certified, PASS wheelchair certified, and HIPAA trained. No broker handoff, no shared rides, no unfamiliar third-party driver showing up in a car you cannot vouch for.
The scope, stated plainly. These limits are here so you can route the right cases to us and the rest elsewhere without a wasted call.
- We do not do stretcher, bed-to-bed, or bariatric transport.
- We do not bill Medicaid, insurance, or brokers. Private pay only.
- We serve North Carolina only: greater Charlotte plus about 40 to 45 minutes out.
If a case falls outside those lines, we will tell you on the first call so you are not left waiting on a yes that was never coming.
Wait and return for sedation discharges
Colonoscopies, minor procedures, anything under sedation. The patient cannot be released to a ride-share and cannot drive themselves, and your policy needs a responsible adult to receive them.
Our driver stays on the premises for the entire visit and can serve as the designated adult required for discharge after a minor procedure. No second call to arrange the ride home, no patient waiting on a curb after anesthesia. Wait and return is billed by the hour in fifteen-minute increments of actual time, with a two-hour minimum. Because it is a two-way booking, the return leg is guaranteed.
Pricing your team can quote with confidence
When you quote a family a number, you are putting your name on it. So our pricing holds. Every ride is a flat rate by service type plus mileage, quoted in full on the booking call, and wait and return bills by the hour with a two-hour minimum. Your patient can also price a route on the instant estimate before anyone commits.
No surge pricing, ever. The rate at twelve hours notice is the same rate you would get at two weeks. That means when you tell a family what the ride costs, the number does not move on them between your quote and the door. Same-day is covered whenever the calendar has room, at the same rate as anything booked in advance.
Working with us on a regular basis
If your facility has an ongoing need for private-pay transportation, call and let us talk it through. We would rather build something around your actual pattern of discharges than hand you a one-size promise that does not fit how your floor really runs. Start with a conversation, and we will figure out what makes sense for the volume and timing you are managing.
Frequently asked questions
Can you invoice our facility directly?
Yes. We bill the patient or family directly, or we invoice the facility. You choose per patient. We are private pay only, so there is no Medicaid or broker paperwork either way.
Do you accept Medicaid or work with brokers?
No. We do not bill Medicaid, insurance, or brokers. That is what makes us the option for private-pay patients those systems will not cover.
How fast can you confirm a ride?
Call 704-992-7433 with mobility type, both addresses, and the time, and you get a real answer on that call. Same-day is a yes when the calendar has an opening and an honest no when it does not. Never a maybe.
What can't you transport?
No stretcher, bed-to-bed, or bariatric transport. We run ambulatory rides and wheelchair lift-equipped vans only. If a case is outside that, we will tell you on the first call.
What is your service area?
North Carolina only: greater Charlotte plus roughly 40 to 45 minutes out. If your patient's route runs past that, we will say so before you count on us.
